Scope of Work
- First drafts are typically delivered within 1-2 business days.
- Revisions are provided within 24 hours.
- Unlimited revision rounds are included.
- No restrictions on video length, though longer videos may take more time to complete.
- Licensed music will be sourced for your videos
- Unlimited stock footage clips are provided as needed.
- Video editing is done using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Audition.
What we don’t do:
- Voiceover recordings.
- Screen recordings or screenshots.
- Sourcing assets independently (beyond music, stock footage, or motion graphics presets).
- Animation services.
- Complex, custom, or excessive motion graphics.
- Wedding video editing.
- Copywriting from scratch.
- Complex color grading.
- Sound design
- Graphic design
Things that may delay turnaround time:
- Submitting raw footage exceeding 50 GB (use proxies for uploads over 150 GB).
- Videos with extensive run times, depending on complexity.
- Videos requiring custom captions.
- Complex or numerous revision requests.
- Submitting unproxied 4K, 6K, or 8K footage.
- Unclear, incomplete, or vague instructions.
- Edits requiring detailed, intricate work (e.g., rotoscoping).
- Sending additional notes/assets to the project manager instead of using the video revision tool (Frame.io).
- Reopening orders that have been inactive for more than 45 days.
Some other important things to know:
- The Essentials plan is not a substitute for a full-time editor.
- If a stock footage clip isn’t available in our paid library, we aren’t responsible for finding it elsewhere. However, you can provide it from other sources, ensuring proper licensing.
- When submitting via Dropbox, place all footage and assets inside a single root folder.
- We understand the importance of deadlines and strive to accommodate rush requests, but we cannot guarantee faster turnarounds than 2 business days for first drafts and 24 hours for revisions. Please plan accordingly to avoid missing deadlines. We can provide asset files if you need to finalize the video outside of our working hours.
- You can submit multiple video orders simultaneously. These will be processed in a queue, with each task completed sequentially.
- If an order remains inactive for 45 days, Edit Crew reserves the right to delete all associated files, media, and assets from our servers and Frame.io storage. We recommend downloading the final exports and informing us once a project is approved.
- We observe local holidays and do not operate 365 days a year. Click here to view Edit Flows observed holidays.
